Day and Evening Class Program for Working Doctoral Students in Risk and Resilience Engineering

In the Day and Evening Class Program, students can continue working at their jobs as they take day or evening classes at the Tokyo campus (in the Otsuka district of Bunkyo-ku).
The program was launched in the 2009 academic year to promote the development and expansion of graduate school education for working individuals.
In some fields, students can receive instruction through a cooperative relationship with the Research Organization of Information and Systems of the Institute of Statistical Mathematics.In this program, students can continue working at their jobs as they take day or evening classes at the Tokyo campus (in the Otsuka district of Bunkyo-ku).

Eligibility

Individual who have the application eligibility for Special Selection Process for Working Individuals for Doctoral Programs.
The number of students to be admitted for this program is included in the number for Special Selection Process for Working Individuals for Doctoral Program in Risk and Resilience Engineering.

Date of Admission

Every April or October
*Time of entrance is the month of admission selected at the time of application.

Entrance Examinations

July Selection Process, August Selection Process and January to February Selection Process (Three times a year)

Requirements to complete the program

Earn a minimum of 12 credits (including Advanced Research in Risk and Resilience Engineering, Advanced Seminar in Risk and Resilience Engineering).
Conduct research and receive instruction, submit a doctoral thesis and pass the final examination.
