On April 24, Prof. Armel de Le Bourdonnaye (Director, INSA Hauts-de-France), Prof. Céline Morin from INSA Hauts-de-France, and Prof. Veronique Sanguinetti, Ms. Estelle Le Meur (International Cooperation Officer) from Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France visited the University of Tsukuba. We have exchanged students/professors and collaborated based on the department-level agreement since 2011.

The delegation visited several research laboratories that accept students from UPHF/INSA and discussed the status of research and student exchanges in each laboratory. After the laboratory tour, we, along with the students, discussed life in Tsukuba from the perspective of exchange students during the lunch meeting.

In the afternoon, following a courtesy visit to Prof. IKEDA Jun (Vice President for Global Affairs), a meeting was held with Prof. MAGNIER-WATANABE Remy (Chair, MBA Program in International Business), Prof. YOSHIDA Mitsuo (Institute of Business Sciences), Prof. KASHIWAGI Kenichi (Chair of College of International Sciences), Prof. KOYAMA Shinichi (Institute of Art and Design), Prof. KAMEDA Toshihiro (Chair, Committee for International Students, Degree Programs in Systems and Information Engineering) and Prof. ITOH Makoto (Institute of Systems and Information Engineering). During the meeting, after the introduction to UPHF/INSA, there was a lively discussion regarding potential collaborations in the fields of Business Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Arts.

It is expected to expand to exchange and collaboration with Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France / INSA Hauts-de-France.
